Xiaomi launches its first OLED TV in China: Welcome the 65inch Mi TV Master
Xiaomi has officially launched its first OLED TV in the form of the 65-inch Mi TV Master Series set. The TV comes with top of the line specifications and a price tag that will dig a hole way too deep in your pocket.
The latest Tv features a 65-inch 4K OLED panel with a 3840 × 2160 resolution, 178-degree viewing angles, and minimal bezels all-around. You don’t see a thick bottom bezel to accommodate the Mi branding and the panel is housed inside a sleek 4.6mm metal frame. Xiaomi says that the Mi TV Master offers a 98.8 per cent screen-to-body ratio.
The TV’s best aspect is its 120Hz refresh rate/1ms response time of the OLED panel. This means that 1 Master is perfect for gamers to plug in their console. The sound systems also impressive on the Master. It comes with a 9-speaker unit to provide a 65W sound output. Two 12.5W units for the left and right channels, two 10W units for surround sound, and a 20W sub-woofer whose ultra-wide frequency range can go as low as 50Hz. The speaker array supports Dolby Atmos and DTS Audio.
The feature that really shoots off the roof would be its price. It is priced at 12999 yuan (around
Rs. 1,37,699) and goes on sale starting July 3 in China. The TV is
priced significantly higher as compared to the ones that Mi sells in
India. It is doubtful whether the Master will feature in India since
India is a price-sensitive market. OnePlus learnt that the hard way and released
its first budget Smart TV yesterday starting at 12,999. The TV is a
good competitor for LG C9 and Samsung Q90R. Currently, Xiaomi has a 32% market share in the Indian Smart TV industry. https://bit.ly/2BI0xDG
