Huami has launched its new smartwatch, the Amazfit Bip S in India. The watch has been priced at Rs.4,999. It is a fitness-focused smartwatch with various sports mode. The company is also promising a battery life of 15 days with typical usage and upto 40 days with basic usage on a single charge. The watch that was first spotted at CES in January is now available to the Indian consumers. The watch weighs around 31g and flaunts a transflective colour display of 1.28 inch. The display is always on. Transflective displays differ from traditional LCDs in that they reflect light. They perform even better in outdoor environments, since the brighter the sunlight is, the clearer the display looks, making it ideal for outdoor sports. The display gets 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The company claims the Amazfit Bip S features an anti-fingerprint coating on top of the display.
