Samsung launches Galaxy A21s at Rs. 16,4999/-

Samsung has launched another player in its widely popular Galaxy A series. The Galaxy A21s comes in two variants with a starting price of 16499. This comes as a successor to the Galaxy A20s with some major upgrades.

Galaxy A21s comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-O Display that has a 20:9 aspect ratio. This is an LCD display instead of an AMOLED, which happens to be a key selling point of Samsung phones. The phone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 850 chipset. Exynos 850 is an 8nm gaming-focused mobile processor developed by Samsung. The processor, however, doesn’t perform as well as Snapdragon 720G which is commonly seen in phones in the same price range. The front display has a punch hole to accommodate a 13MP selfie camera. The fingerprint reader is mounted on the back.

On the backside, the phone has a quad-camera setup. This rear camera includes a 48 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, a 2 MP depth sensor and a 2 MP macro lens. With this phone you get a massive battery of 5000mAh with 15W fast charging. The phone runs on Android 10.

The phone is available in three colours, black, blue, and white. There are two variants. The 4GB + 64GB variant is priced at Rs. 16499 and the 6GB + 64GB is priced at Rs. 18,499. Memory on both the variants can be extended unto 512GB with a micro SD card. The phone is available on Amazon, Samsung’s online store, and other retail vendors.

Samsung A21s fails to keep up with Motorola One Fusion+ that offers 6GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage and a Snapdragon 730G processor at Rs. 16,999. Motorola One Fusion + goes on sale 24th June onwards. The phone also goes head-on against other leaders of this segment like Poco X2 and the Realme 6 Pro. The Samsung Galaxy A series is majorly focused on generating sales through offline channels so it may find better traction there.
